Mei’s Vanity 🙂

Ever since 8th grade, insecurities were the only thing
I felt whenever I would look into the mirror. Looking back on it, no teenager should ever feel like that when it comes to acne, and i’ve made that my mission.

Hey guys! My name is Mei and i’m currently a high schooler, class of 2025! I grew up with painful cystic acne from 8th grade to freshman – early sophomore year. I would envy those around me with beautiful effortless skin while I was spending hours and thousands of dollars in the bathroom, trying to fix my face. My self esteem was always down, and the state of my acne was always on my mind.

But it was until I started looking into the science of things, when my world started to change. December 2022, my skin was clear for the first time. And it stayed clear. I finally understood my skin and cracked the code. With time, patience, and a change of lifestyle; my skin was finally glowing. Of course to this day, i’m still recovering from the scarring, everyday i still see progress.

I feel like all teens, boys and girls both, deserve to feel confident in their adolescence so that nothing can hold them back. That is why i’ve made it my mission to spread my teachings in more comprehensible forms, and to share my personal journey to encourage others like me that your “dream skin” is achievable.
